The pen has passed testing and is ready for purchase. This listing is for a silver Esterbrook J (full size) with a 1554 nib with its original box and paperwork. The pen was found with another pen that was listed earlier this week and has pretty much the exact same story. It is pristine with no real signs of usage other than being dip tested. The original ink sac is still fully pliable and holding ink well with no leakage. I did swap out the nib as the original had a lot of nib creep but the new unit fits and writes great with no nib creep. Overall this is a great example of an Esterbrook J so pick it up while you can. • Condition: Excellent - This pen has needed nothing from when found. Its in its original box with the paperwork. The original ink sac is fully pliable and holding ink well, it appears to only been dip tested. The J bar is clean with no corrosion. The pen itself is spotless. The only thing of note is the slight discoloring but that is expected of celluloid. You can't really find a much more clean example of an Esterbrook J than this!
