The Good

If you’re looking for a cosmetically clean example, this is not the one (see below). If you’re looking to check out a 2-liner at a good price, proceed. For those that don’t know, the 2-liners were the original Pelagos before they introduced the in-house movements, so it’s running an ETA movement, it’s a little thinner than the current 42mm Pelagos and it’s got an additional lume plot next to the date. But the big selling point is two lines of text on the dial vs. five. The watch is running great (I had it manually clock in at -5 second per day), the watch itself is in good condition, no huge scratches or dents, just normal wear and tear on a tool watch.

I’m also including a Ti half link from Uncle Seiko and it comes with the original box and warranty card.

The Bad/Ugly

These early Pelagos have a known issue where lume in the ceramic bezel can fall out, this one has a missing lume plot in the pip and a previous owner has filled in the lume plots at 15 and 45 on the bezel (looks fine on the wrist but you can definitely tell it’s not the same lume up close). The bracelet mechanically is great, but a few of the bracelet pins are stuck and a previous owner has torn up a few of the screw heads. Luckily the links detach at the actual buckle with no problem so I was able to size it without issue.

It’s currently sized for my 6.7 inch wrist on the spring loaded expansion setting. Obviously, I’m happy to send more pics or answer any questions, let me know!
