An extraordinary Blackbird Mabie Todd in grey marble cellulose in 'like new' NOS condition.

Gorgeous material, superb condition, no discolouration, no brassing of the metal components. Overall Rating [A2]

The nib in this one is very very rare. It's made of 14C gold, has got a medium Cursive Smooth Italic (CSI) grind. Don't think it's a factory grind but I can't be sure. Smoothened to near perfection, very very flexible like a Wet Noodle, easily gives line width of more than 2mm. Simply put - A "dream nib" on a gorgeous pen.

Even if you don't apply any pressure you'll get a very nice calligraphy effect due to the cursive smooth italic tip and when you apply pressure on downstrokes it will give you pengasm.

The feeder is made of ebonite and keeps up with the ink flow nicely. To get the most out of the pen I recommend using a wetter ink.
