This listing is for a Sheaffer Imperial VIII fountain pen and pencil set with the original case. It was purchased to restore but to my surprise, the ink sac and O-ring that usually need replacing are perfectly fine. It has been cycled over 20 times with no issues and even has that signature touchdown swoosh sound when filling. Overall this is a great looking pen and the top model of Imperial before moving to the PFM model. This model actually has a matching model of PFM but if that pen is too big then this one is just right! Here are some more details about the pen set:

• Color: The body is plastic, and the cap is gold plated with a lined design. The trim (clip, cap ring) are gold plated.
• Nib: 14k inlaid Fine nib. Smooth wet writer, not flex but bouncy nib.
• Condition: Very nice condition. There are micro scratches on the barrel. The section has deeper scratches do to the capping mechanism but that is to be expected. The cap has micro scratches but no dents. The cap imprints are clear. The barrel imprint is very crisp. The white dot has some discoloration, looks like a little yellow dot in the middle of the white dot. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. The pen is working well.
