The Magnifier Door - This thing has a flip-open door that acts as a magnifying glass for the subdials, plus you can use it to read maps or small text. Peak 1990s Seiko weirdness and I love it.

Originally High-End - Cost ¥120,000 ($1,100) back in the day, so this was serious money for Seiko at the time. Movement Details - 7F38 quartz with four subdials: day/date, moon phase, and an independently settable “sun pointer” for navigation (or use as GMT). Hour markers are replaced with N/E/S/W compass points.

Construction - Double crystal protection - both the door and case have crystals, so the dial stays safe when the magnifier is open.

Condition - Really good shape overall. light scratches on the case back. Dial and hands are perfect. ORIGINAL LEATHER STRAP Well the strap was in rough shape, I took it to a leather expert to get it cleaned and back to life and now it’s about 20 years younger.
