If you are reading this, then you know all about the amazing independent Bristol watchmaker, Fears. The model most responsible for its recent resurgence is undoubtedly the Brunswick, and this is perhaps the most unique variant of them all! For your consideration is the Brunswick 38 Jubilee Edition, released in 2022 to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee Anniversary. It was discontinued shortly after the Queen's death and limited to ~70 timepieces (each is numbered). This watch not only comes with the original, unworn purple leather strap but an additional OEM gray barenia one (unworn), AND the amazing Fears bracelet (which is currently on back order from the company). What a package! The watch was just serviced in April 2025 by the good folks at Oak & Oscar (who manage Fears's US servicing) and is running like new!

The Fears folks have really thought of everything with this amazing watch. There are no flat surfaces or edges anywhere, and the curves and slopes give the watch a sleek and luxurious feel. The sunburst purple dial is a sight to behold, and the diamond-polished appliqué indices and skeletonized hands sparkle and dance. Winding the watch with the ornate onion crown is a distinct pleasure. Finally, the bracelet is ergonomic and comfortable, while the straps add yet more flair to a showstopping watch.

The watch is in very good to excellent condition. There may be the slightest of markings on the back of the lugs from a bracelet change, and the bracelet clasp shows a couple scuffs, but I have done my best to keep this watch immaculately. I hope you love it as much as I do!
