For sale is a classic Pilot Elite Crosshatch with a 14k <F> nib. The pen writes a smooth and wet, crisp Pilot line. The nib is in very good condition and shows a manufacturing date of April 1980. The body shows some light use marks, but nothing that detracts from the function or visual effects of the pen. The back cap is coded LJ17 and shows a worn 18k stamp that signals that this isn’t the original cap. The stainless steel crosshatched cap has held together nicely and shows little sign of wear. The pen takes the Con-20 and Con-40 converters in addition to modern Pilot cartridges and clones. It’s a stunning pen that’s ready to continue use as an everyday writer. C rating for usage marks and non-original back cap.
