[WTS] [US] Modern and Vintage pens :-) Pelikan, Waterman, Conway Stewart, Parker, Wahl, Sheaffer, Stipula, Pilot
Hey there folks! Small-ish batch of 10 pens today. This is primarily what was left from last batch, with a couple new pens added in. Every pen in this batch is a fantastic writer! They’re just, unfortunately, pens I don’t use, which necessitates their sale. Nonetheless, I appreciate you taking a look and hope you all have a great week ahead!

On to the pens!
[A2] Pelikan Ductus w/18k Med. Nib $455+shipping
Although I am primarily a vintage collector, I have an affinity for modern(and vintage) Pelikan’s. This Ductus model isn’t very common these days and has been out of production for some time now. These pens sell for a lot more on the big auction site, so you can grab quite the discount here. This particular pen is in excellent condition, having been inked only once by me. It writes as you’d expect a Pelikan to write. Smooth and with the perfect wetness! I have other Pelikans I use all the time as Pelikan is probably my favorite modern pen brand, so this beautiful pen is up for sale. These pens remind me a lot of the M815 Metal Stripe given their silver trim and striped look. A beautiful, stately pen that is hard to find in this condition!
[A2] Pilot Custom Heritage 92 in transparent blue w/14k FM nib piston filling pen $150+shipping
This CH92 is a really nice pen. This is a pen that needs no introduction to the FP community at large. The nib is absolutely excellent, however I’ve only filled it once since I purchased it brand new. It is in absolutely perfect, new condition with not even a single micro-scratch to be found. I guess the transparent color models of this pen have been discontinued by Pilot…? If you wanted this pen and didn’t make the purchase, here’s your chance to get, what is essentially, a brand new pen! Awesome pen with an awesome nib!
[B] Selmy Maki-e pen. Cartridge converter w/Fine SS Schmidt nib $125+shipping
This pen was my first foray into Maki-e. Let me tell you, this pen impressed me! So much so that it was a tough decision to let it go. It’s unbelievable to me that you can get a pen of this quality for this comparative low price! It’s beautiful, in great condition, and has a wonderful nib! What’s not to like? The gold and silver powder used in the design of this pen really pops. Take a look at the pics in the gallery. A gorgeous pen that’s sure to please when put to paper!
[B] Selmy Tang Urushi pen. Cartridge converter w/Fine SS Schmidt nib $125+shipping
This is an entry level Urushi pen with a beautiful finish. The Urushi on a pen doesn’t know its retail price….this is a great piece of your looking to try out Urushi to see how it feels, see if your skin reacts, etc. the Fine nib writes gloriously so you’re really not giving anything up.
[D-nib swap] Stipula Tocco-Ferro SE. piston filling pen w/SS Med nib $140+shipping
This is a special edition Tocco-Ferro in orange. I didn’t like the nib that was on the pen when I received it, so I fitted a Medium nib to it. Pen writes very nicely and is in good condition, save for a few spots here and there. This particular pen is #290-351. If you missed out on this pen when it was originally available ale, or have been eyeing it, here’s a chance to purchase it at a much lower price than what I’ve seen elsewhere.
Vintage Pens below
[D for vintage] Parker 25 w/SS F nib in stainless steel, cartridge converter pen $30+shipping
The Parker 25 is an ultra reliable, very durable pen. If you’re looking for an inexpensive pen to use every day that won’t break the bank, seek no more! This pen writes very well and is quite comfortable in the hand. An excellent everyday writer!
[D for vintage] Waterman 52 in Black chased hard rubber w/14k Flexible needlepoint factory stub nib $230+shipping
I have many, many Waterman 52’s w/stubs. They’re absolutely excellent writers! This pen is no different. This pen is in good condition but does have some wear consistent with use over the last 100yrs or so ;-) The chasing, while worn, is still visible. The imprints are also still present. The nickel plated trim is in pretty good condition, especially to be 100yrs old. What really makes this pen special, and what sets it apart from others, is its nib. This pen has a really fine needlepoint nib with an EEF side stroke and EF downstroke. The nib is also quite flexible, allowing line variation over and above the stub aspect of the grind. This makes for an extremely satisfying combination! An excellent nib on what is THE quintessential vintage fountain pen!
[D for Vintage] Conway Stewart 58 lever filling pen w/14k Med flexible stub nib $200+shipping
This Conway Stewart in beautiful brown checkered celluloid is a gorgeous pen! I own a number of CS stub nibs and this one is about as flexible a nib as you’re going to find on one of their pens. I like this pen very much, but have other CS’s I prefer. Also, I’ve finally figured out that I can’t keep every pen in the universe, try as I might lol ;-) so, this one is for sale here. A prolific writer made of beautiful celluloid ready for a new owner.
[D for Vintage] Sheaffer Craftsman w/14k Med flexible stub nib $170+shipping
This is a fairly standard Sheaffer Craftsman in beautiful blue. What sets this pen apart though, is its flexible stub nib! This nib writes incredibly well and is perfect for all your calligraphic pursuits. I wasn’t going to sell this pen due to a crack emanating from the breather hole(pictured and highlighted in the gallery). However, I’ve written notebooks, and notebooks of pages with this pen and the crack has remained stable. Given that fact, I’ve decided to go ahead and move it along. This #5 Feather-Touch nib is very flexible and is sure to put a smile on your face when nib touches paper :-) I’m confident you will not find a flexible Sheaffer stub, rare as they may be, for the price listed here.
[D for vintage] Wahl Tempoint in BCHR w/14k Fine nib $110+shipping
This is a Wahl in black chased hard rubber with a fantastic nib! This pen would be a great introduction to vintage pens if you’re so inclined to try one out. The best thing about this pen is its nib. It writes beautifully and is in pretty good shape to be over a hundred years old! There is some oxidation present to the hard rubber but overall, this is a beautiful pen!
