No introduction is needed for this pen. I am selling this personal grail from my own collection only due to financial reasons, but am in no rush, hence the pricing.

There are no visual defects to the urushi coating, outside of miscroscratching and some fingerprints, with the exception of some wear where the cap screws on and interfaces with the barrel. No big deal, as this is expected, but still worth noting.

In my experience with fountain pens (vintage and modern alike), I have not had a better writing experience than with this pen. The broad nib has been tuned by yours truly, and writes unbelievably smooth- not glassy smooth, but with audible feedback, like writing with a fat sharpie. I've personally enjoyed using Sailor Kin-Mokusei with a tiny bit of dish soap to get it to write wet- see the writing sample.
