This is a vintage Waterman's 32 1/2 BHR with a very special nib.

In my experience when it comes to vintage fountain pens Waterman is the champion. This pen is no different. It is an ebonite pen, it has got some browning which os quite often found in vintage black ebonite pens. It's been polished to a shine. It has no dent, crack or deep scratch. Overall condition rating [B].

The nib is unique for a vintage pen for sure. If you are buying this pen you are buying it for the nib. It is a 14ct gold Left Oblique Smooth Italic nib with excellent softness and flexibility. It gives a crisp line variation without applying any pressure and when you apply pressure magic happens as the line variation gets even more pronounced. This is a fantastic nib and I enjoyed writing with it a lot. It has also got enough of tipping material despite being a unique grind. The feeder is made of ebonite and keeps up with the ink flow perfectly.
