Nakaya Writer Portable Kuro Roiro <Fine Nib> [B Condition] - $825
This is the perfect length for everyday use and has a balance of portability and comfortableness of writing.
The very traditional color of urushi, “KuroRoiro(Black)” is used and it shines glossy and deeply.
Roiro is one of the color names for black, and means the deep and beautiful wet like black color of a black lacquer.
The color name comes from Roiro-nuri, which is one of the lacquer coating techniques.
Pen is used and features the older style feed and nib. Color is black. Body is in great condition. Nib shows age due to it being gold. Clip is pretty good but you can see micro scratches. Convert included at asking price. No box. Retails for $870 shipped plus duties if purchased new with a 9-12 month waiting period.
Leonardo Dodici Vulcanica ST Fountain pen <B> Black Gloss - $425 [B1 Condition]
Comes with a 14k silver tone bold nib. Condition rated as b1 or excellent to very good. Don't see much if any noticeable wear. Box does not have ink.
Leonardo introduces the new collection Dodici (Twelve), a number closely related to the number three, like the three fountain pens of this new line of Leonardo Officina Italiana inspired by the Italian tradition of faceted design fountain pens. The 12 facets of the fountain pen enhance the shapes, the angles and the geometry, a perfect balance harmoniously related to the perfection of the number 12.
Vulcanica deep black recalls the glossy color of volcanic glass, a color that perfectly enhances the faceted design of the fountain pen and the angles of the refined Leonardo Dodici (Twelve) fountain pen collection. Angles and lines perfectly balanced, together with the energetic power of volcanic lands from which it takes inspiration, makes this pen a unique and intense experience of writing.
Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age 18k Bold Nib [B] - $549
Bronze shows signs of aging, but that's about the only wear that I can notice. The nib writes extremely beautifully. Very smooth and slightly flexible. A real joy to write with. It is heavy though and that's why I'm going to let it go to the next caretaker. Not sure what else to write about it as it's a great pen and you can buy this knowing that the nib is one of the good ones. It writes fine.
Also, I do believe it's of the older make where more lava is used. Box included.
PLATINUM Izumo Tamenuri Fountain Pen - Akatame (Red) Urushi Fine Nib [A2] - $549
